There are umpteen blogger challenges out there. A blogger will host a challenge, with a theme of some sort – often a new topic each week. You write or post photos to match that theme and then put a link from your post to theirs – a simple link to their URL. It’s called making a pingback and wordpress will explain how if you don’t know. Then you go over to the blog that hosts a challenge and leave a comment and leave your own URL so everyone is sure to find and visit you 🙂 You’ll also see links to all the other bloggers in the challenge and can pop over and comment on their post. Bloggers are very friendly and you eventually end up with many people that you visit regularly. I host blogs on at, Sun, Weds. Saturday is a very chilled one – give your post a 6 word title on anything that comes to mind, and perhaps add a poem, a narrative or a photo to go with it.

Wow, I didn’t know ANY of this stuff. This is why I wanted to talk to people with experience, people who know way more than I do that I could pick up a thing or two from, people like you 🙋♂️
Quite honestly, I picked up on blogging very recently and although there was a bunch of stuff I didn’t know about, I’ve learnt majority now and I look forward to learning more. The journey can seem very demanding and its very easy to feel jaded about so many concepts in the blogosphere, stuff like sales funnels, backlinks, sponsored posts, guest posts, color schemes and aesthetics, industry niches and sub-niches, copyright and plagiarism, affiliate marketing, ad revenue, traffic generation, SEO…the list is endless really.
But I’ve learnt about 90% of all these concepts and I’ll constantly be looking for ways to improve my blogging skills.
The only I’ve been worried about is lack of having other bloggers around that I could talk to, I’ve tried sending emails to a bunch of very famous bloggers like spinach4breakfast to leeFromAmerica to jami Alix and even ThisRenegadeLove- but they all have one thing in common, its either
– I don’t get a reply
– I get literally very vague one sentence replies
– I get replied by robots (the most annoying)
I’m super excited about this blogger contest you speak of, let me know when you’re about to host your next contest so I can join, yes I know I type a lot but it’s all good…cuz I’m a blogger 🤷♀️
